My love for design, story-telling and stationery is inspired by my sweet mom, j.marie, who loves snail mail and all things paper. For as long as I can remember I have been creating and trying to re-tell stories with any medium I could find. J.marie and sweet pea was officially born with a set of cards I designed for Mother's Day in 2013, and ever since I have felt drawn to telling the stories of t
he people and places that have touched my life. This is where I want my heart to be in all of my work, focused on telling a story that is genuine, thoughtful, maybe funny, hopefully a little nostalgic, but overall passing on something important about the people that have poured into me.
