We love working on these old 7.3L trucks!

This one got a freshly rebuilt transmission installed. We also flushed the cooler lines, upgraded the transmission cooler, and performed a flow test to make sure everything is operating exactly as it should. 😀

Just a little shop story from this week...

A customer supplied an Amazon clutch for us to install. Everything went together, but once it was back in, the car had no reverse. After all the work of pulling and reinstalling everything, the brand-new clutch turned out to be the problem.

Thankfully, this customer is a friend, and I had a good used OEM clutch with plenty of life left sitting on the shelf. We swapped it in, and everything worked perfectly.

This isn't meant to knock anyone for trying to save money—we completely understand why people shop around. It's just a good reminder that the cheapest part isn't always the best value.

When we supply the parts, we can stand behind both the parts and the labor, and we know we're installing components we trust.

Sometimes letting your mechanic handle the parts selection saves time, money, and a whole lot of frustration in the long run. 🔧🚗

A worn timing belt can go from "running great" to a very expensive repair without much warning.

Not sure when yours was last replaced? Bring it by for an inspection or schedule your timing belt service before it becomes a problem.

Got to do this rear lift gate install on a 2026 toyota 4runner. Pretty stoked how it came out. Was a lot more tricky wiring it up than I thought (as they dont make these for a 25/26 yet), but the customer and I are both happy how it turned out. What do you guys think? Anyone need one of these? Need to replace the transmission filter on a Jeeps? You don't just buy a filter anymore... you buy the entire transmission pan because the filter is built into it. 💸

A simple maintenance item suddenly turns into a much more expensive repair. Engineers must've been having a really interesting meeting that day. 😂
