Thursday's are my one day a week off, though I did get a bit of chassis designing in today that I'll finish up tomorrow for an MPP...

This evening was a bit of turtle painting. Slowly coming to life. I'm painting 2 of them at the same time so it's a bit of a huge project for me.

A HUGE shout to my dude Dave for printing all of this stuff for me in resin. He did all of the pieces for me for my T-800 Skull and Arm. Seeing his updates on this is what gave me the bug to resin print myself and he spent quite a bit of time talking with me and helping me set up my own station.

He also included this Ahsoka Arcanna Star Map that he printed/painted. Absolutely gorgeous piece!

And lastly, he snuck in a bottle or Orkish Dermis paint for me to help me with airbrushing my skin tones.

What a massive mail all today.

Some milling, some hand filing and a 20 minute bath in the tumbler... we have a skeleton chassis for the skeleton saber.

There will be 8 different led strips on the bottom portion with a brass Crystal chamber showing through the top portion and lighting up all of this saber.

The chassis will also get an entire laser engraving.

I lovingly refer to this setup as "cramming 10 lbs of s**t into a 5 lb bag" edition...

Quick test fire on the Scion to make sure all blinkies operating..

Here is an Electrum Scion redone for Patrick...

I took the factory install out of this and replaced it with my own chassis holding a Proffie, 28mm premium speaker, removable 18650/kill switch and a 19 pixel accent strip.

I removed the brass slotted piece and did some light machining under it to create some shine through opportunity for the led strip and covered the work with a piece of diffusion material.

Upper portion of the chassis designed so that the Crystal Chamber blade plug still fit and operated as it should.

Still waiting on a lot of paints to come in, so no highlights yet... got to lay down a decent skin tone and some shading...

Here is a Dennis Lukyanov "Creepy Uncle v2" finished up for Patrick...

This was installed with the master chassis holding a Proffie v3, 28mm speaker, crystal chamber that's removable for board access and has a single neopixel for the crystal and a 20 pixel accent ring right above it, an oled screen, removable battery cell with kill switch and two sets of KR Sabers lit pcbs.

Here is a Bastila Shan saber set finished up for Austin...

These were installed with my own chassis design that I originally made for Korbanth when they dropped these some time ago.

Each holds a Proffie v3, 28mm premium speaker, real quartz crystal with its own neopixel accent and a KR Sabers lit pcb with removable 18650 and kill switch.
