Do you know what happened in your business this week without chasing updates?

For a lot of small businesses, the answer is no.

The information exists, but it is scattered across messages, forms, spreadsheets, booking tools, and inboxes.

That makes it harder to see what is actually going on.

Automated reports and dashboards can help bring the important details into one place.

New leads.

Follow-ups.

Activity.

Response times.

A simple business overview can help you spot issues sooner and make better decisions without manually checking every system.

Better visibility does not have to mean a huge software project.

Sometimes it starts with one clean report that updates on its own.

AI should make business easier.

Not more confusing.

A lot of business owners are hearing about AI everywhere, but the real value is usually much simpler than the hype.

It is not always about replacing people or building something complicated.

Sometimes the best use of AI is helping with repetitive work behind the scenes.

That could mean organizing incoming information, drafting a first response, summarizing customer notes, or helping your team find what they need faster.

The goal is not to make technology the center of the business.

The goal is to give business owners and teams more time to focus on the work that actually matters.

At Sawtooth Automation, that is the kind of AI I care about.

Practical AI for real business problems.

Still following up with every new lead manually?

That can work when business is slow.

But when the day gets busy, it is easy for a new message to sit too long. A customer reaches out, you are tied up, and the response happens later than it should.

That delay can cost real opportunities.

A simple automation can help by sending a quick response right away. It can also notify you so the next step is clear.

You still handle the customer relationship.

The system just makes sure the first touchpoint does not get missed.

If this sounds familiar, Sawtooth Automation can help you find simple ways to respond faster without adding more work to your day.

What is one task in your business that you repeat every week?

It might be sending the same type of reminder. It might be copying information from one place to another. It might be checking whether something was completed.

Those tasks may seem small on their own, but they add up over time.

That is usually where automation makes the most sense.

Not with a huge system overhaul. Not with a complicated AI project.

Just by finding one repetitive task and making it easier.

If you had to pick one task you’d love to stop doing manually, what would it be?

A lot of automation opportunities start with one simple question:

“What happens after a customer reaches out?”

For many small businesses, the answer is still pretty manual. Someone checks the message. Someone writes down the details.
Someone remembers to follow up later.

That process can work, but it also creates room for things to slip through the cracks.

A better version might look like this:

A customer reaches out. They get an automatic confirmation. The owner gets a clear notification.

The follow-up is tracked in one place.

That does not have to be complicated. It just has to make the next step easier.

Small process improvements can create a better customer experience and save time behind the scenes.

Still following up with every new lead manually?

That works for a while.

But when things get busy, it becomes easy for a message to sit too long. A potential customer reaches out, you’re tied up, and the response happens later than it should.

That delay can matter.

A simple automation can help make sure new leads get an immediate response. It can also notify the business owner so the next step is clear.

You still handle the relationship.

The system just makes sure the first touchpoint does not get missed.

If this sounds familiar, Sawtooth Automation can help you find simple ways to respond faster without adding more work to your day.

Hi everyone — I wanted to take a minute to personally introduce myself.

My name is Cody Piccillo, and I’m the founder of Sawtooth Automation.

My professional background is in data analytics and automation. Over the years, I’ve worked with teams to build dashboards, automate repetitive tasks, and turn messy manual workflows into cleaner, more efficient systems.

I started Sawtooth Automation because I believe a lot of local businesses can benefit from these same types of tools — without needing a huge technology budget or a complicated enterprise system. I have a huge passion for using modern technology to help businesses grow, and I’m excied to bring that to my local community.

Most business owners already have enough on their plate. Between customer follow-ups, scheduling, emails, spreadsheets, forms, reporting, and day-to-day operations, there are a lot of small tasks that quietly eat up time every week.
My goal is to help local businesses find practical ways to save time and operate more efficiently using automation and AI tools that are approachable and useful.

I’ll be using this page to share ideas, examples, and simple ways businesses can start improving their processes one step at a time.

Thanks for following along — I’m excited to build Sawtooth Automation and connect with local business owners who are looking for smarter ways to work.

I’m excited to officially introduce Sawtooth Automation.

Sawtooth Automation was created to help local businesses save time by reducing manual work.
A lot of small businesses are running on a mix of emails, paper forms, and repetitive admin tasks. That may work for a while, but eventually it starts costing time, money, and opportunities.

That’s where I want to help.

My background is in data analytics, automation, and process improvement. I’ve spent 10+ years helping teams turn messy processes into cleaner systems. Whether it be dashboards, automations or other tools, my goal is to provide practical solutions that make day-to-day work easier.

With Sawtooth Automation, my goal is simple:
Help local businesses use automation and AI in a way that yields real world results.

I’ll be using this page to share practical ideas and simple ways business owners can start using automation without needing to become technology experts.

If you own a local business and there’s a repetitive task you wish would just “take care of itself,” I’d love to connect.

Thanks for following along — excited to start building this.
