Always amazing to see ones design in print. Being a big gamer and excited about the new Hellbreak TCG, I had to design my own playmats. They came absolutely amazing thanks to Gamehead.

Quick this morning, based on a joke I made with my wife. I regularly get allergy shots at a place called Family Allergy & Asthma. My wife has been experiencing stronger allergies these past couple of years, and she mentioned having gone to a clinic some time ago, but couldn't remember the name. Thus, in opposition to Family Allergy & Asthma, Enemies Allergies & Asthma was born.

The goal of this exercise was to play on the styles you typically see on family clinics - subtle line art of families or people, amorphous colorful shapes, and a clean, inviting appearance. Instead of a family embracing one another, I opted for two people standing back to back in opposition. While the clean Futura font plays into the modern design approach, its sharp corners hint at the dangers of enemies.
