For this I am revisiting this series I created for , mostly because an earlier post only featured one of the five designs. They hold up well after twenty years, I think.

This year’s annual card is done and ordered. So are the stamps. Now for the envelopes…. This image references a snapshot I captured of the white egret who frequently goes fishing on our little lake.

I prefer products over others when they are available. This afternoon I picked up a bag of Season & Steam Brussels sprouts.

Generally, I avoid preparing microwave-ready products as intended and tonight I planned to sauté them on the stovetop with onions and finish them with some white wine and pecans.

Every sprout, except two, was rife with worms, worm damage, and worm excrement. This wasn’t evident from inspection in the unopened package.

After cleaning I was left with barely half the pound. I have never had to throw out more than a couple in all my years in the kitchen.

Disappointed only scratches the surface.

Uncovering revealed this for Arizona, a restaurant once housed in the former Lupe & Bea’s, the storied “Texican” restaurant as they called it, which sadly closed in 1996.

Getting down to unpacking the last of the boxes after moving the studio from to I uncovered a stash of work I hadn't seen in a while. This was designed for a coffee boutique in the early 1990s

A recent market expansion gave our client an opportunity to move in to their new locations with a bold presence. We adhered to the idea of avoiding images of current furniture offerings to keep the design from becoming quickly dated as styles change.
