AI-generated patches are effective less than 50% of the time, according to a new report. Even more unsettling, researches found that out of more than 6,000 patches they looked at, many of them actually introduced NEW vulnerabilities to the mix. 😱

That's a rough bet for anyone responsible for federal systems and mission-critical environments.

Microsoft released 663 patches in July, 457 more in August, and that's only one vendor. With more than 1,100 patches in two months, who can possibly keep up with that?! The best teams go straight for what's exposed and exploitable, fix that first, and let the rest sit until it matters.
