After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to officially close My Local Henry.
I genuinely loved this project. Sitting down and interviewing local business owners, hearing their stories, and spotlighting the people who make Henry County special was incredibly meaningful to me. Those conversations were the best part of the journey.
That said, the product itself didn’t catch on in Henry County the way I hoped it would. And as an entrepreneur, I’ve learned it’s important to be honest about what’s working—and what’s not.
This isn’t the end of my commitment to local small businesses. Far from it. I’m always exploring new ways to support, promote, and advocate for the people building businesses in our community.
To everyone who participated, shared their story, or supported the idea—thank you. I’m grateful for the experience, the lessons learned, and the relationships built along the way.
