The great thing about a custom logo design (one that is not produced by AI) is the digital file has the functionality to be reproduced in a variety of different ways. The logo is a vector based file which means a few different things. One, it can be scaled indefinitely without loss of detail. That's great for say a vehicle application where you have a large die cut logo on the door or construction trailer. Two, the logo colors can be setup up as spot colors which is great for various types of printing including screen printing for tee shirts and apparel. Three, all the logo elements are separate so they can be brought into a video animation program and animated separately. And lastly, a custom logo design means you get something that is totally unique to your brand. It's pretty easy to pick out AI inspired designs, they all have that same look it seems. Sure, they look good but if you want your brand to stand out and be different and memorable, maybe that's not the way to go.
