Just finished my 3rd Amplifier based on the Class D Texas Instruments chipset TPA3255.. This one I went all in with tube preamp stage running in CLass A. Its a dual TPA3255 chip board Dual Mono for the Amp shared Supply. A low noise SMPS 500 watt supply 10 amp with output easily 150 solid clean watts. Its all in one enclosure. The amp has an organic sound yet a visceral kick in low frequencies. Thus is the SPG AUdio T-300.

My latest Unicorn Ive got here in the lab, Ive just gone through did a full checkup and calibration. This folks is the Teac A-1D integrated Amplifier and it looks like Teac brought their A game to the table. Ivwe always had a thing for Teac gear. They (aside form junk of 90's) always stood out from the rest in both quality and in looks. This is a beautifully enginered piece and only top quality components used. The layout uses all discrete components and each signal path has been laid out in a proper manner with one thing in mind. NO Filler and only the sound is the most important factor. No unneccesary fluff although I admit aving a fully functional remote and a motorized volume K**b as well as input selector is pretty bad ass. The amp is a Class A/B design with power amp section being Mosfet driven. These are hard to come by unless you import from Japan then have to deal qwith step up transformer etc. They were sold in the US in 2005-2006 timeframe and those who own one treasure it. THe specs are 75 wats into 4 ohm 50 into 8 ohms, so not a massive powerhouse nor do I want it tobe. Stay tuned for some demo sound clips at some point

New service I can provide for those speakers that could use a detailing. 2 step correction for swirls scratches etc.
This is an example of a Laquer finish. Wood finished would be different service. Gave these the Platinum treatment as shes going to a new owner and in turn I'm getting the standmount NHT SB3n same drivers same config inverted tweed however no side woofer. digs to 36hz in room though. I'm pressed. I prefer standmount speakers really. . This speaker is amazing however its last in rotation for me and even then they are overkill for my area. Dining room's larger and these can really shine there but not dedicated music room.
So these got a full detail, these have 7 coats laquer so not concerned about burning through it. even with my CUSTOM Blend its a two step correction like a car detail would be and then a shell of ceramic coating on top in case these have to brave blizzards hurricanes etc. Dust doesn't even stick, glides off lol.

Show casing a fine set of floor standers from NHT. These beauties are a solid performer. I oput her back in rotation this time with a power house Yamaha Class A/B amp
