When Ashley and I planned our engagement shoot, we knew we wanted to heavily feature Los Angeles. There’s nothing quite like this city, and no one quite like us. This is where we fell in love, made a home, and are getting married 💕
accompanied us to the Beverly Hills courthouse, where we picked up our marriage license and found an amazing rooftop w a 360° view of the west side (slide 1)! We had a feeling these coordinating outfits from LA brand would look good on film but we didn’t realize HOW good 🤯 We received lots of compliments about our outfits from passersby.
Next we walked over to city hall, where we frolicked through palm trees and posed in front of French tourists and city workers coming back from lunch (slides 2-4).
Then we drove downtown to grab lunch and do an outfit change 👔 Ash and I have been on many dates to and always ride up the hill bc it’s so fun (slides 5-6) and it’s one of the things I did the very first time I came to LA back in 2017. We even brought a bubble gun with us (slides 7-8), which wasn’t super predictable due to the wind, but the pics turned out great 🫧 Ash said the striped shirts remind her of Cosmo and Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents 🧚
For our last location, we walked over to the Grand Ave stop and used our TAP cards to hop on the subway (last slides). We use Metro LA to get to jobs, gigs, concerts, games, and events so we wanted to get some shots of us riding the train.
3 rolls of film and 4 locations later, we were all done! Thank you for beautifully capturing us on film, 📸🎞️
