This logo I made for my food popup

Most people say the logo looks like Vicente Fernandez, but when I was making it I was actually referring to my dad. He was an aspiring singer in the 70’s. He would dress in his charro and open for big acts passing through his town.

My whole food popup is based around my childhood and my time in mexico.

Every year in December my family would load up the camper on my dad’s truck and we’d squeeze in the front and make the 24 drive from El Sereno To Sinaloa.

We’d spend two weeks out there celebrating Xmas and new year with my grandparents, tios, tias and cousins. All of our dishes are named after important things to me from Mexico, La Cancha, El Chamaco, El Tingazo, Señor Longaniza are all tacos named after things from Mexico that are special to me.
