The seven-bedroom property was sold earlier this month, just before Walton’s debut as lead assistant coach for the Detroit Pistons, who are set to play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday—where Walton previously coached. At 44, Walton has had coaching roles with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings, following a decade-long playing career, mostly with the Lakers. He purchased the 10,000-square-foot home through a trust for $7.2 million in 2017, according to PropertyShark records. After buying the home, Walton and his family undertook significant renovations, changing “almost every surface of the house,” as listing agent Nick Schneider of Compass explained.
