Using the image format list and the frame range of the jobs, the Engine will validate that all of the expected frames exist, and will requeue a work unit if any frames are missing or invalid at the end of the work.

Smedge 2020 hot fix released!

Some issues were found in the initial Smedge 2020 release. These have been addressed in the patched version of Smedge that was released today. The official release version of Smedge is currently 2020.0-f2, which you can see in the About box in Smedge Gui.
