Dump of unfinished drawings from my sketchbook. Just a reminder that I need to get these pieces done, at some point. From Street Fighter to Harry Potter. From Batman to Thundercats. I’ll finish those soon. Have a nice weekend y’all.

Another page of my Batman story almost done 🦇

It’s getting there. According to the script, I’ve got about 3 more pages to go.

Goal is to finish the whole thing by the end of the year.

Back to drawing. ✍️

I’ve been watching a lot of Disney movies with my kids lately, especially Aladdin, my daughter is completely obsessed with Aladdin and Jasmine.

And it made me look at these characters again. The work in those Disney classics is still incredible. The designs, the animation, the personalities.

Jafar, especially, is one of the coolest villains. The way he moves almost like a snake, his eyes, that arrogant look like he’s above everyone and everything. Such a great character.

So I thought it would be fun to put my own twist on him, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Definitely excited to explore more Disney characters like this.

What do you guys think? Who should I do next?

More from my Batman story.

Working on some backgrounds and really enjoying the process. As much as I use AI in my advertising work, actually drawing still feels 1000x better.

Real marks. Accidents. Dirty hands. Figuring things out as you go.

Feels good to just make art.

And btw, don’t call yourself an “AI artist.” It’s embarrassing. 😬

Drawing something a little different this weekend. It’s always refreshing to work from a reference while giving myself the freedom to explore and see where the process takes me.

I like to start my creative days with sketches.

Nothing too serious. No deadlines, no pressure, no worrying about whether every detail is right. Just drawing for fun and letting my brain warm up before jumping into actual work.

Sometimes it’s a completely new sketch. Sometimes I pick up something unfinished from the day before and keep pushing it a little further.

It’s a small routine, but it helps me get into the right creative headspace and, little by little, all those unfinished ideas keep moving forward.

Just draw. Then start the day. ✏️

Sneak peek at the progress I made this week on my Batman story.

Catwoman is finally showing up. I also want to keep this story pretty short, so I’m getting close to finishing the pages and will start coloring soon.

Thanks for watching :)

I’ve been doing some studies to figure out how I want her to look. I’ve always liked a more classic take on the character, and since so much of Catwoman is about her silhouette, I’m leaning toward something more minimal and iconic.

Not sure she’ll stay this glossy, but I kind of like it.

She’s the next character to show up in the story. Stay tuned. 🐈‍⬛

Warm-up session this morning with our neighborhood friend, Spider-Man.
A quick study on anatomy, perspective, and gray tones to separate foreground from background. Spidey’s just taking a moment to rest, maybe enjoying the rooftop view.

Happy Friday y’all.

The Spider-Man commission is moving along! Today, I added Venom to the mix. Check it out.
