“Typo-Posterized” solo poster exhibition at in Berlin.

The solo exhibition by Belarusian designer Mikhail Lychkovskiy brought a powerful fusion of typography and emotion to the heart of the city. 🇩🇪

The gallery walls were transformed into a vibrant archive of Lychkovskiy’s signature style—where letters aren’t just read, but felt. As a standout talent from the Bankov Poster School, Mikhail’s work challenged the boundaries between graphic design and fine art, blending experimental letterforms with a raw, national graphic identity.

📣 The International Student Poster Confrontations is an annual exhibition organized since 2020, presenting the most interesting creations of student posters from higher education institutions in Poland and around the world. The exhibition is accompanied by a competition for the best printed and animated poster.

The event serves as a review of the latest design trends, contemporary directions in poster design, and is intended to be a confrontation of different teaching models used in higher education institutions worldwide.

The exhibition is presented in the historic halls of the Tarnow Cultural Center building and on the pavement of the Market Square in Tarnow. Every year, as part of the exposition, both thematically and formally diverse posters ranging from social, cultural, and political themes to animated, typographic, authorial, and advertising posters, are showcased.

The event is organized by the Faculty of Art at the Tarnów Academy in collaboration with the Tarnów Cultural Center. Curator .chrabaszcz_graphics

As inequalities in access to information deepen, every mind left without education actually represents a missing piece of our future. Today, the right to education is not merely a preference but an inevitable necessity for societies to survive.

Art is the most powerful trigger for social transformation. Statistics alone are no longer sufficient to convey that education is a right not only within four walls but in every aspect of life; we all need to shout out this truth through a visual language.

As designers, we are tasked with carrying the light of knowledge to dark corners. This exhibition is the expression of a global voice regarding the universality and the unstoppable nature of education.

There is now one month left to submit posters for Paste Up Warsaw – Independent Poster Festival 2026, one of the largest outdoor poster festivals in Europe.

We invite all image-makers, graphic designers, illustrators, visual artists, digital creators and beginners, to take part in this open call. There are no thematic or technical restrictions, and each artist can submit up to two posters.

Paste Up Warsaw is a project built around real visibility in public space. Selected works are presented on a 200-meter wall along the Vistula Boulevards in Warsaw, one of the most visited urban spaces during the summer season. The festival also expands beyond Warsaw through satellite exhibitions across Europe.
