My students grades K-8 learned about conveying emotion in art and we created a Wall Of Happiness in our art classroom. The kids love seeing what other kids drew and discussing what they came up with. Original and creative thinking!

We’ve created so much amazing art this year! These are Kindergarten marshmallow sculptures- one of my favorite STEAM activities. They are fully engaged and it’s cool to see how many children really shine working in 3-D!

I started ceramics with lower elementary the past couple of weeks. Slab rolling, lidded coil pots, basics of slip and putting clay together. Next up firing and glazing! The kids absolutely love clay, it’s a lifelong memory. ✨
