Boy Girl Stuff We draw cartoon characters from words. Our characters are then imprinted on clothing and other items. Well, that’s how Boy Girl Stuff’s characters were born.

Do you remember learning to draw faces from words like “boy” and “girl”? We took words and drew faces from them. Simplicity in our drawings was the key since we couldn’t draw much more than stick people. We decided to call our company “Boy Girl Stuff” because those were the two characters (the boy and girl in our logo) we originally drew. These were our first sketches. We call them “Humble Beginni

ngs.”



Our first sketches were primitive to say the least. But, the more we practiced, the better they started to look. After refining the original sketches, we decided to try drawing other characters from different words like mom, dad, dog and cat, and from names like Pat and Bob. We even used Spanish words like niño, niña, mama, papi, perro and gato, and names like Ana and Eva. The ideas kept coming, and we kept drawing. As we went along, our drawings became more refined and were now more than just faces. They actually had personalities! After a while, we had so many characters and they turned out so well, we decided to show them to family and friends. They loved them! Our characters seemed to have the same effect on everyone—they made them smile. Everyone also had fun picking out the words in the faces. Then we thought, “Hey, why not show our characters to more people?” So, we started imprinting them on mugs, t-shirts, toys, iPhone and iPad covers, tote bags, pet clothing, and anything else we could put them on. Then, we decided to start this website so we could bring our Boy Girl Stuff line of products to you. Thus, Boy Girl Stuff was born! We’re always coming up with new ideas, new characters, new variations on characters, and new products, so come back often to see what’s new at BoyGirlStuff.com.
