Flat 8 Productions was lucky enough to help our with fundraising and production services on this scary romp of a film.

The film has previously won at Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival taking home Best Horror Comedy and Best Special Effects as well as winning Best Thriller at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival.

In this documentary feature... Christina Stahl is raising her parents.

Synopsis: A high school senior has to choose between her dream of going to college, and a life at home, caring for her parents who she has "raised" since she was a small child.

Flat 8 Productions was lucky enough to contribute during production in camera operation as well as assisting during post.

The film was turned into a narrative feature by Mr. Smukler was an OFFICIAL SELECTION at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022. Stay tuned for the release and updates from this powerful feature documentary.
