I'm Lacey: graphic designer, home design fiend, and artwork addict.

I've been wanting to open this Etsy shop since I graduated from the University of Oregon, back when I would eat, breathe, and sleep graphic design. Since then, I've fused my skills with my love of home design, and when my cats aren't climbing into my lap for attention, I love creating prints and pictures. The art I make is affordable, customized to your needs, and can be swapped in or out with changing seasons and styles (though to be honest, I plan on keeping mine up forever).

As my business is a "side hustle," I am learning to be okay with slow progress. It's easy for me to compare myself with the output of other graphic designers, but I know that isn't realistic. Some designers have been in the business for many years and have worked incredibly hard to get to the point where they can work on their businesses full time. There may be times when I only post once or twice in a week, forget to schedule Pinterest pins, and have nothing new added to my website or Etsy, but that's okay. I didn't even have a business name a year and a half ago, so for now I'm just taking it a day at a time. Feel free to leave any advice in the comments if you've been in my shoes! 🙃

A few months ago, I got an email from a bride asking if I could make a custom wedding ceremony program for her to match the vibe of her wedding invitations. She sent me a photo of what she was looking for - I was thrilled to see succulent accents on a very dark gray background. I said yes, and immediately got to work creating something that she and her fiancé would love. I received this photo in my inbox recently, and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. They matched the vibe of her wedding perfectly, and it was a wonderful feeling seeing my work in its printed form right alongside other elements of their big day.

We spent our Saturday at celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Watson! All of the greenery around the property provided a beautiful backdrop for the all white bridesmaid dresses, florals and linens. It couldn't have been a prettier day, and I was so honored to be a part of it!

Getting ready to take maternity photos for a good friend here tomorrow - it's going to be beautiful! So thankful for them trusting me to capture this moment in their lives. Fingers crossed that the baby doesn't come between now and tomorrow morning!

One of my favorite things to do at least once a year is head down to the beach during the golden hour and take a million photos with my camera. I don't take DSLR photos as often as I should, so I always wish that perfect lighting would last just a little bit longer! What's your favorite place to shoot? 📸
