My first Memorial Day in LA was 2011 which is when the first photo was taken. 💙

The others are created and taken on the day from different years in between.

The studio holds everything…the work that came before, the work still becoming, and the nostalgic soft things that remind me the comfort I crave to be surrounded by.

A collection of photos
Art That Honors, Inspires, and Heals 💙

In collaboration with world-renowned cancer hospital City of Hope and local artists, the parking structure at Lido Marina Village has been transformed into a walking art exhibit called, “Hope Is a Rising Tide.”

Each piece and floor pays homage to cancer survivors, the strength of the community and the breakthroughs shaping a cancer-free future, while revealing what’s next in cancer discoveries
and treatments.

Floor by Floor Storytelling

• Level 1 (Innovation): The launchpad where groundbreaking cancer research begins.
• Level 2 (Expertise): At the heart of compassionate care with world-renowned cancer teams.
• Level 3 (Humanity): A celebration of the families, donors, and friends who walk the cancer journey.
• Level 4 (Hope): No ceilings, just renewed possibility and brighter horizons for all.

Where did you go?

Two highways run outside my studio windows. Movement, systems, and the way cities hold memories.

Interwoven with the dreams I carry of places visited, longed for, or quietly invented.

Balancing the structure of geometry and expressionism that lives continuously in my creative world.

30” x 40”
Acrylic, microfiber, and tape on canvas

This original piece is now available on my website

I’m in a constant state of geometric projection in the last couple years of my work.

I have been in and out of geometry and line art, organic shapes, and expressionism throughout my lifetime of creating.

I still have a couple of vivid flashbacks from geometry class in 10th grade and I still remember I got a C then. I would’ve rather just drawn the shapes and not do the actual math then. Now I’m drawing geometry and doing math all times for estimates and mural work.

I also grew up around my father’s neighborhood development plans.

I was surrounded by architectural and interior design plans for 12 years while I was working in marketing for those firms.

Geometry provides balance for my eyes and creative satisfaction while organic shapes and free flowing lines provide more expression and feelings in my heart of emotions.

Excited to be listening to new album in the studio while I’m creating and having dancing breaks. 🎼
