A+ to Wendy's Social Marketing team. When you go viral for something even if it isn't the perfect "look" for your business ride the wave. As long as it's something like this. They struck gold with this and changed their brand feel from kind of boring/old to hip/funny/young. That's big for a brand this size.

Instagram unveiled a new logo & app design today. After watching the video about the change we kind of dig the creative thought process that went into it. With the implementation of videos, the aging camera wasn't cutting it anymore. Insta is so much more then just pictures these days. How do you guys feel about Facebook adding a ? We aren't sure how to feel. Sure it will work well for statues about loved ones that have passed or friends who may have lost a job. Liking those posts never did seem quite appropriate. Do you think people will overuse it to the point of negativity? It feels like there are about to be a lot of friendships demolished & ruined. Socially, how do you think this will affect us? We worry about the high school aged kids who are on Facebook and now have the option to ruin another child's day with a click of a button. We don't need more of a reason to bully each other. We need to lift each other up not bring each other down. Adults may be able to take it with a grain of salt, but what about those that are still impressionable and not as thick skinned? Have we really thought this through?
