💛💙 Join us on our journey of exploring Ukraine’s cultural heritage and learn more about Kosiv’s painted ceramics!

🏺 The tradition of Kosiv painted ceramics — which includes dishes, ceremonial items, and toys — dates back to the 18th century.

🪔 The items are made from local gray clay watered with white clay for soft-beige to ivory final color.

🍂 When dried, the pottery is embellished using sgraffito, a scratching technique, to form graphical drawings that reflect the scenes of Hutsul history, folklore, and customs, as well as the surrounding flora and fauna.

🎨 Yellow, green, brown, and blue are the colors of traditional Kosiv ceramics. The green pigment is often blended out, so it gains the softness of watercolors, contrasting the pastose browns, yellows, and blues.

🌎 In 2019, the tradition of Kosiv’s painted ceramics was added to UNESCO's intangible heritage list.

🦖 Our fellow T-Rex Oleksii did not leave Kharkiv, even when the Russians attempted to take control of the city.

🚚 Instead, he spent two months delivering meals for the territory defense forces, temporarily displaced people, and everyone who needed help during these difficult times.

🛑 Someone has been scamming freelancers on Upwork,
Freelancer.com, Telegram, WhatsApp, and other platforms on behalf of ITRex!

🦹‍♂️ That person goes by the name of Isaac Stone, Antonia Lauren, or Marie Marc and claims to be the secretary to Victoria Sharina, CHRO at ITRex Group.

❗ The impostors typically post jobs on the above-mentioned platforms, offering freelance data science and visualization specialists to complete a commercial project for one of our clients. If you reply to one of those advertisements, they’ll ask you to continue communication through messengers.

💰 You'll be asked to pay a compulsory insurance fee using PayPal (user ID: [email protected]), Citi, Skrill, or Crypto.com Arena to take on the project.

👋 If you're unlucky to transfer the money, that'll be the last you hear from Mr. Stone or his partner(s) in crime.

🤷 We've been fighting the scammers ever since we got wind of them a month ago. However, preventing online fraud requires close cooperation between many parties, including freelance marketplaces, social media, messengers, and payment services, and our goal might take longer to achieve.
