I’ve been a little MIA these past few months, but much of this time has been spent getting ready for DesignerCon, which is kicking off this Friday! I will be sharing a booth with , and I’m looking to meeting as many people as possible. If you are planning on visiting DCon, please stop by and say hello!⁣

That said, my online store will be closing tomorrow and will reopen after the new year. I was hoping to have some badge reels available this week, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like that will happen.⁣

Just in time for Back to the Future Day, my Marty McFly 2015 Hat and Emmett Brown 1955 Brain-wave Analyzer pins were the next designs released after PPE-kachu and PPE-vee. I wanted to take a break from medical-themed pins, and these designs were a great way to try something new - the Marty McFly hats were rainbow anodized while the Brain-wave Analyzer made use of varying depths to give it a more “3D” appearance.⁣

Overall, I really liked how these turned out and the backer cards were a nice companion to the finished piece. This week, my Back to the Future pins will be 30% off, as part of my 3-year anniversary sale.⁣ The discount will be applied automatically at checkout and will end Sunday, October 22 at 11:59pm.

As always, 100% of proceeds from this design will be donated to the Michael J. Fox foundation. I hope everyone is having a great week. Look out for more discounts over the next few months!⁣

Following my COVIDBUSTERS design, the next set of pins that were released were PPE-kachu and PPE-vee. At the time, these designs were incredibly relevant, as there were major PPE shortages all around the world. ⁣
⁣
This was the first time anything I ever created went viral, and for months these pins were consistently sold out. Today, while they don’t have the same impact they once did, they remain some of my favorite designs to date.⁣ Proceeds from these pins account for over $2000 in charitable donations!
⁣
Starting today through the end of the week, all PPE-kachu and PPE-vee related items will be 30% off. This includes stickers and pins (even the blood-spattered variant). The discount will be applied automatically upon check-out.⁣

Three years ago, I opened an Etsy shop with only one product - a COVIDBUSTERS pin I designed during the height of the pandemic. I didn’t have any initial plans to grow the business, but now three laters, here we are with over 150 unique designs.⁣
⁣
Thank you to everyone who has supported this small business, especially those of you who have been there since the beginning. To date, we have shipped pins to every state as well as 18 different countries. It’s crazy to think that pins that were individually packaged in my home are being worn by healthcare providers all around the world.⁣
⁣
I’ve also had the opportunity to meet several creators (some of whom are also healthcare professionals), and I’ve learned so much from each and every one of them.⁣

Here’s to an amazing three years, and hopefully many more to come!⁣

Say hello to 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗸𝗶-𝗺𝗼𝗻, a new series of enamel pins releasing today!⁣

This has been a work in progress for several months, and I’m very happy with how everything turned out. This is a departure from my usual medical themed and Asian marketplace pins so I hope I can find an audience with these designs.⁣
⁣
Maneki-mon pins will be available in blind bags. Each blind bag will contain two Maneki-mon pins and can be purchased as a single bag or a pack of 3 blind bags. 𝟯-𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, but I cannot guarantee any other combination.⁣

These pins will be available for individual purchase at a later date (at full retail price), so keep an eye for that!⁣

Finally, many of you have been asking about badge reels. I was having issues sourcing certain components, but it looks like everything is starting to come around. Look out for more badge reels coming later this month.⁣

One of my favorite collaborations to date, the “Love Our Earth” enamel pins are a perfect way to show compassion towards our patients as well as our planet. Similarly, is dedicated to making scrubs that are both comfortable and sustainable, and I’m honored to be a part of that mission!⁣

Here is a look at the label I will be using for the Maneki-mon Blind Bags! Each bag will contain two enamel pins and there will be 10 (or 11?) unique designs to collect. Designs will be available individually at a later time, but the blind bags will be a better deal.⁣

Ta-ta-tachán! Gen 9 Medical Starters are now available in the shop! Sprigatito, Quaxly, and my boy Fuecoco are ready to join you on your Treasure Hunt.⁣
⁣
These took a little while to release. From my original design to the final product, a number of changes were made. Sprigatito’s front legs were moved down - now all four legs are touching the ground. Quaxly’s arms were given a little more flair. Finally, Fuecoco’s feet were changed to more accurately reflect his in-game model. Overall, I’m really happy with how they turned out. Also, I was waiting for confirmation of the shiny colors before starting full production.⁣
