SHARE WITH ME YOUR WHY!

Why you do what you do each day. Why you get up and what keeps you going.

MINE IS MY FAMILY. When the pandemic hit, I was working at the home tavern as a bartender and while I worked on the days I didn’t have my daughters, I wasn’t seeing my then fiancé much. I saw him for a few hours on the weekend since he works crazy hours too. When the shut down happened, I was told that I was technically a two income family since Michael and I were living together (splitting bills, like most couples do) and that I had been laid off because some of the bartenders were single income families. I understood that. Unemployment time came, and I was denied because my hours were “part time” so I didn’t qualify. I couldn’t not help support my family, so I pulled on my design and creative background and started researching, creating and building Busy B Boutique. My business has exploded since then. A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have and continue to support my awesome small business.

I’ve taken the weekend and spent it with family, off of social media and just been present as mom, wife and friend. I’ll tell you what, it was the best unplugged couple of days I’ve had!
