Everyone is throwing around Ai for small business like it is some kind of super hero that is going to save them. I see ads all the time about selling small business owner Ai services and make a ton of money.

Ai is just another tool in the marketing tool box to make things a little quicker. Marketers selling an Ai service are not going to sell a local business owner a $3000 a month service no matter what the Gurus tell you on their ads. They are just trying to get your money and leave you holding the bag.

As a small business owner there are several ways to get your message and using Ai is just a small piece of the puzzle. It can help you write ads and make videos for ads but it is not the Holy Grail of marketing. I have tried a few Ai platforms and they are mostly just rehashed complicated junk that should be avoided like the plague.

My advice is to start with something tried and tested over time and that is direct mail. While online marketing is the big think in the modern internet day, good old fashioned direct mail is the best bang for your buck.

A lot of business owners think direct mail is expensive because of the cost of postage but with Co-op post card marketing the cost is pennies on the dollar. You can have a nice color ad with your offer or discount coupon. You can include your business information, phone number, your web site and email address.

A post card is visual and potential customers will look at your offer instead of scrolling by like with an online ad. Many people will call you if they need your service or put the card on their fridge with their fridge magnet for later. A beautiful colorful post card will draw attention and get your phone ringing.
