These 3 digital art images of mine were selected for the "Art from the Imagination" art show at the Rome Art And Community Center. The show ends tomorrow but you can still see the artworks today 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and tomorrow 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Most of the exhibit events here feature all types of media. I decided to enter some digital artworks, combined from multiple images. Descriptions are in each image.

Tomorrow night is the opening reception for the Photography Competition exhibit at Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, where I have two of my images that were accepted into the competition and are on display. I will post photos of them hanging in the gallery after I take photos at the show.

The sun was getting lower on the horizon when I passed this fountain in Newport NY. The distant trees were in shadow, but the water of the fountain was glowing from the direct sunlight on it.

The perfect ingredients for what's called a low key photo. Typically a black and white image, I've left the colors to show the golden hour light reflecting.

I can't wait to see this in a full size print. On the original high resolution image the man fishing sitting on the wall in front of his car is visible. I will add a crop of it in the comments.

I got fancy with the frame on this. These flowers are Impatiens capensis. Also known as jewelweed and spotted touch-me-not. The name is due to the seed pods, which literally explode when touched scattering the seeds.

These were alongside a marshy area near Richfield Springs NY and added a nice splash of color alongside the road- the color reminding me of mangos or cantalopes.

Apparently this railing at the marina in Little Falls NY is a duplex. These two spider webs in the railing are illuminated by the setting sun, and the dark shore in the shadows on the other side of the canal helps make them more apparent with the contrast.
