Opening Day is finally here, and we’ve been excited to share this one. BCL is proud to officially sponsor and unveil the BCL Press Club (located right behind home plate) at the Cincinnati Reds Great American Ball Park!

Our good friends at BCL are hosting a golf outing, and proceeds will benefit The Crossroads Center! It will be a fun day of golf, including a putting and chipping contest, and a drone ball drop to start the day off. The Golf Scramble will have Hole-In-One, Longest Drive, and Closest To The Pin Contests.

To end the day of golfing, there will be a Million-Dollar Shootout Competition at Hole #18, followed by dinner and a prize ceremony for the winners. We’re proud to share that Grace Reynolds, CFO at BCL Enterprise, has been named to the Board of Trustees for The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The First Tee is a youth development organization that uses the game of golf to teach life skills and help young people build character, confidence, and resilience. In her new role, Grace is focused on expanding access to these programs, especially in underserved communities, and supporting partnerships with local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Yesterday our team got together virtually for a festive holiday trivia showdown! 👊 Team Red may have taken home the win, but the competition was close, the laughs were plenty, and it was the perfect way to connect outside of work.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of Philip Klingensmith’s passing yesterday, peacefully surrounded by his family.

Those of us fortunate enough to know Phil experienced something special - his gregarious spirit could light up a room, and his deep knowledge of the industry was matched only by his generosity in sharing it. He never just taught; he genuinely cared about the people he mentored and worked alongside.

Phil was more than a colleague to many of us. He was a mentor, a friend, and someone who made everyone around him better. His impact on this industry and on our lives will continue long after today.

He joins his beloved wife and daughter, and I find comfort knowing they’re together again.

Phil will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Please join me in raising a glass to a truly wonderful man - someone who lived with kindness, wisdom, and an open heart.
