I’ve been looking at my clips differently lately. ( I currently have able 900 random 1 minute to 30!second clips on my phone : splashes of framed time )

I’ve been thinking about memory, archives, and what we choose to keep sacred.

Not everything needs to stay hidden on my phone. Some moments are meant to be archived, shared + remembered.

++ As a kid, I remember hanging at my grandmother’s house watching old VHS tapes of family reunions & forgotten moments brought back to life ( seeing my siblings younger , my aunties & uncles before I was born , etc ) … reruns of awards shows ,sitcoms and special moment of broadcasting . Those moments and visual landscape have stayed w/ me.

Now I’m realizing these little clips, these random scenes, these in between moments, are part of my archive too. So I’m going to be more directly intentional about posting art vlogs, behind the scenes moments, music installations, video installations & more. I’ve got exciting things ( for my journey ) coming soon … so I want to build this space with more consistency & life ( for archival memorabilia and reflective materials for myself )

Self mastery is the quiet discipline of evolving without abandoning your character & childlike imagination , making space for mental maintenance while staying open to growth. Move forward with awareness, but never lose your sense of wonder. Let the love experience and curiosity of the joy of the journey remain your anchor through every version of who you become.

March wrapped up as one of the busiest & most fulfilling months I’ve had in a long time. Full of growth, reflection, mental check points & real alignment(s). A season of self evaluation & seeing real fruits of the my purpose / labor.

Grateful for reconnecting with familiar faces, building w/ new creatives, & bringing long standing projects to life. ( Added bonus ) Big milestone : establishing two separate publishers across my work in art therapy & creative design.

Shoutout to my family ( .jeanne / / ) my for the love and space at their show at . Full circle moment reconnecting after 3 years & celebrating the Grammy nominated Starfruit album ( 2023 ) being part of that legacy ( the album artist ) is a blessing.

Creativity fellowship & friendship built from Covid until now ( and beyond ) + wild to know that Amber has known about me since 2009 when I did ‘( Vibe)rations “ LP ( 2013 ) album art & booklet . Just a simply sign for creatives to do it for yourself , passion and purpose ( in full authencity and love ) it will be felt and recognized. Bless ++

art direction for new solo effort ‘ Unfiltered ‘ releasing January 16 2026.

Big s/o to my guy () for a random invite to the Equinox Fest prequel event this year at the University of Kentucky with trio ( which was super fire ! What a beautiful night, beautiful music, and inspiring energy all around.

After the show I was able to connect with the band and chopped it up on his music origin , where the music comes from for him, to later found out we both have roots in North Carolina along with a few mutual musician connections from the NC music scene.

Another big s/o to the legend who mentioned I’d be a good fit to collaborate w/ visually with style and his sound( good call family 🤞🏾🏆 ) , and not long after, we reconnected to start building for his new project ‘Unfiltered ‘ . I was blessed to hear the project early and start creating around it and I think what came out truly captures his energy, his personality, and the way he writes, plays, and lives his music.

This album is honest, open, and deeply personal . It takes you on a journey of reflection and emotion. It blends smooth, melancholy vocals with Eli’s free-flowing, skillful bass playing , creating a sound that’s both grounded and liberating. It’s one of those projects that fits any mood : something you can soak in during a quiet moment , vibe to at a kickback , or let play in the background while reflecting on your day.

It’s the type of album that stays in rotation .Timeless , soulful, and full of feeling. You can tell every note and lyric came from a place of truth and experience, which makes it resonate even deeper.

When the visuals and the music move in sync … the full story comes to life.

Excited for everyone to hear ((( Unfiltered ))) when it drops January 16th 2026. Pre-orders will be available on all streaming platforms, and I hear there might even be vinyl and merch coming soon.

Coming to the close of 2025 , I’m feeling nothing but gratitude. 🙏🏾

Forever thankful for everyone who has purchased, supported, or even shown interest in my art this year. Every message, share, and conversation means the world : this is my purpose and my journey, and I’m grateful to keep walking it with you all.

As we wrap up the year, I’ll be at three holiday markets ( one for two days !! ) to close out the season/year. If you’d like to buy some art, talk about future projects or commissions, or just come say hello and yap with the kid , I’d love to see you!

I want to give a very big and important /powerful s/o to : we first met at my studio Fall 2023 ?? ( time is strange these days , haha )

We had a great conversation about art, life , art history , digital art, traditional art , art representation, creative alignment , etc ( not knowing at the time until after the convo that she was one of the directors ( Museum Manager ) of the arts program at 21C Lexington . About a year later, she reached back out to ask if I’d be interested in being one of the artists featured in the hotel’s foyer spaces leading to the guest and residence rooms. For me, it was an immediate & definite, yes.

From there, we met multiple times to align everything with the hotel. It started with postcards in the gift shop , for a buffer. I was the first artist to have that specific feature at 21C gift shop ( there are a few left in the shop if interested ) and that evolved into preparing for the two full floor installations panels.

Katherine’s thoughtful preparation was later handed over to the support from (big shoutout to her as well), and together we finalized everything for 2025. I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity to showcase some of my largest works to date and to represent as a Kentucky artist in such a unique space that highlights both world-renowned and local artists.

This moment means a lot ( not just for me ) , but for the city of Lexington and for every creative living their purpose through art. My goal, purpose & mantra as many know has been to “ create, inspire, help heal ( myself ) and others “ ( through artistic alignment , authenticity and intention )

If you get a chance to stop by 21C art panels and what floors you can view them at will be announced next week . We’re working on a small event to celebrate the release of these two pieces, with limited prints and small works available for purchase ( … few giveaways for the first handful who show up as well who come out to support. )

S/o to mutiltalented actress & creative Paulina Singer also known by her artist name ZuZu Silk , for reaching out and trusting me to help bring her next creative chapter to life.

It’s truly a blessing to connect w/ someone whose energy, artistry, and vision align so naturally with my style of visual storytelling. On our recent Zoom calls with her manager and team, we instantly locked in talking about how my art could help express what her sound *feels* like: soulful, cinematic, and layered.

Paulina shared that my work was exactly what she’d been looking for to help translate the emotion and texture of her music visually. Like most creatives, she’s multidimensional — and this new phase is all about helping her open up more of her musical side as ZuZu Silk.

It’s wild and beautiful to see the opportunity that align while you’re in your purpose and passion fully & authenticity
