It's just over a week away - June 12-13 - and you don't want to miss it! DFW Ham Expo for 2026 is (again) Twice as Big! We will have over 25,000 sq. ft.of exhibit area in the much larger NTX Arena at Vista Mall (former JCPenney store), with direct outside access to a large dedicated parking lot. Our much larger exhibit area will allow spacious traffic flows, plenty of air conditioning, and over 200 vendor tables. We're already 70% sold (which is more than all of 2025) so you have just a few more days to purchase a table.
Our prizes have been set for DFW Ham Expo 2026! Our prize budget is (again) bigger than ever – close to $4000 of prizes. We think you’ll want to win a Yaesu FTX-1 Optima! It’s the “do everything” radio that keeps getting better and better. In addition to the FTX-1, you can win the top-of-the-line FTM-510DR ASP mobile UHF/VHF from Yaesu, and a Kenwood TH-D75 top-of-the-line HT. We also have several HTs and other prizes from our Sponsors (like Alpha antennas and ABR Industries) so you’ll have a good chance of winning. You can buy extra prize tickets online at any time and we’ll print them and fill them out for you (no more handwriting your info 50 times!) when you check in. So really there’s no excuse – get your tickets today!
New this year - Forums! As we grow to become the Regional Hamfest for the North Texas area, we are expanding to do many of the things that larger hamfests provide, such as instructional and educational Forums. For 2026, we have a selection of interesting subjects that we hope you haven’t seen in other places. Check out the schedule on the DFW Ham Expo website.
Plus the things you've come to expect from DFW Ham Expo: Outdoor tailgate on Saturday starting at 7am - get your bargains early. Ham Radio VE testing by the W5YI Crew. Radio Testing by AE5IV - test that radio before you buy. New this year is a convenient concessions stand, coffee cart and food truck access, joined to our new Social Area. Plus convenient access to a stocked ATM and the Mall's Food Court vendors.
Admission tickets are only $10 and are available online (and also at the door). Packages of Prize Tickets are also available (3 for $5 and 15 for $20) so you can increase your chances of winning. Buy your Admission and Prize Tickets in advance and they will be pre-printed and available at the separate will-call check-in - avoid having to stand in line and fill out your name multiple times!
PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS at our DFW Ham Expo website: dfwhamexpo.com. As with previous years, we use the Zeffy non-profit platform for ticket sales (and you can always select "other" to reduce their suggested service charge).
We look forward to seeing you there! And be sure to tell your friends! Detailed directions and a map are available on the DFW Ham Expo website - dfwhamexpo.com
