AWS Solutions Architect: Project performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total system. Analysis is performed at all levels of total system products to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversation of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) will be a member of the End-to-End systems engineering team responsible for system readiness reviews throughout its lifecycle. The team is responsible for working closely with the development teams to understand the requirements, review segment level test scenarios and test reports, and provide an oversight into the final design reviews and recommendation to move the system throughout its milestones to be used by the customer. The individual may also maintain/develop associated requirements and interface documents for the program and assist in developing/reviewing Acquisition Strategies and Acquisition Packages; Request for Changes (RFCs); Statement of Works (SOWs); Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and development contracts. They will also track project ex*****on, identify and mitigate project risk, brief senior government customers, and work collaboratively in a multi-contractor, FFRDC and government environment.
Direct Duties: The Clairvoyant Ops Systems Engineer will have a high visibility role with the customer and provide end-to-end systems engineering, working with the customer to configure hands-on Proof of Concept capabilities within Amazon Web Services (AWS). An interest in real-world application is a must and a background in network security is helpful, but not required. Duties include participating in Technical Engineering Meetings (TEMs) with acquisition entities, working collaboratively in a multi-contractor/FFRDC environment, and participating in acquisition milestone reviews. Background and/or interest in ITIL, DevOps, IC ITE, cloud computing and SIGINT security are all a plus!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1) Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
2) Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline with 8 – 10 yrs of experience, or a Master’s with 6 – 8 yrs of experience.
3) Domain experience in Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), or Commercial IT programs
4) Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to facilitate meetings with multi-organizational stakeholders, understanding explicit and implicit deliverables
5) Proficiency applying SE&I (e.g., processes, mission needs engineering & analysis and I/F definition, project planning/IMS, IV&V, and transition, risk and readiness management)
6) Self-starter, proactive in responding to customer needs, ability to work independently and within team environments
7) Strong attention to detail
8) Ability to relate professionally with customers and colleagues

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS-
1) Bachelor or Master degrees in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or other Information Technology disciplines
2) SE&I experience working with Geospatial/GEOINT or SIGINT capabilities, systems, segments, services, architecture, analysis, capability implementation, process experience
3) Experience with security controls and/or SIGINT security a plus
4) Development experience with cloud software design, development, deployment and/or operations (DevOps within Intelligence Community preferred)
5) Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) background with cloud experience is a plus
6) Acquisition experience within a DoD environment is a plus
7) Prior experience, or current interest, with Cloud Services (AWS certification preferred)
8) Exposure to Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE) service offerings and service adoption
9) Ability to lead and influence
Security Administrator: Security Administrators perform a vital administrative security support function by providing direct access control to secure areas; ensuring consistent and efficient processing and distribution of security-related documentation; the maintenance and monitoring of calendar schedules; monitoring suspense items; conducting document quality reviews; scheduling presentation of special taskings; accepting deliveries of classified and unclassified materials (reports, presentations, etc); and, the management and administration of supporting databases.
Security Assistants provide administrative support across all functional areas to assure the maintenance of records and files, the preparation and distribution of mail, correspondence, reports, and other documents, and the maintenance of a suspense date file. These efforts include the development, review, analysis, and preparation of ad hoc reports, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and narratives.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Generate and maintain databases that reflect receipt, storage, inventory and disposition of information including data entry, updates, and generation of reports.
Maintain and document personnel security accesses, to include databases for all collateral, SAP, and SCI personnel, and conduct indoctrination and debriefings as required.
Assist in reviewing customer security regulations and procedures and create and facilitate methods of implementation within assigned work areas/technology offices.
Assist with implementing the Security Education Awareness training program and develop security education bulletins, directives, security plans, procedures and controls as required.
Prepare and protect security files, records, and other information.
Support and execute personnel security functions associated with the SAP Nomination Process (SAP NP).
Process SAP NP forms and Program Access Requests (PARs) within 7 business days of receipt.
Ensure SAP NP forms and PARs requiring SAPCO coordination/approval are staffed to the SAPCO PERSEC specialist with supporting justification within 7 business days of receipt.
Update SILVERADO and JADE, as applicable, within 3 business days of receipt of an approved PAR and within 1 duty day of a successful indoctrination of personnel to a SAP compartment.
Perform entry, exit, visitor processing, and escorting for day-to-day operations as well as conferences hosted in the DARPA Conference Center or other mutually supported facilities.
Conduct end-of-day security checks and perform other security administrative functions as requested.
Provide day-to-day access control management of supported facilities and maintain supported facilities and conference rooms.
Coordinate with other DARPA security offices, organizations, and personnel in support of mission requirements.
Recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
Establish, update, and develop inclusive administrative office processes and procedures.
Gather information, verify facts, and assemble background materials, reference material, and reports for Agency leadership / executive level meetings and conferences.
For select positions, maintain and follow-up on suspense records for coordination, action, or suspense dates.
For select positions, schedule and track the calendar for appointments, meetings, and travel, to include use of the Defense Travel Service (DTS) System.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with security management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) / Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).
Possess excellent research and data-gathering skills with an ability to interpret/analyze complex information within operational Research & Development (R&D) / S&T environments.
Possess the energy, experience, and subject matter expertise to demonstrate sound judgment, foresight and problem solving skills in a fast-pace S&T RDT&E environment.
Possess excellent organizational and communication skills; demonstrating an ability to communicate, interact easily and effectively with a wide variety of individuals and echelons in both written and verbal forms.
