We are looking for a fiber technician in the Albany Ga area for a 4 night SPF and fiber patch cable install. You will be connecting several fiber patch cables.
Start time is 8/1 - 8/4 11:30pm
The time onsite can vary from 4 - 8 hrs.
Most of the time will be spent waiting on the support desk to finish configuring the connection after you make it.
Tools:
Phillip screwdriver
alcohol wipes
your phone charger ( you will be on with support for most of the night)
Pay is $325 a night.

Arrive onsite and check in the help desk
• Meet with the MOD
• Locate and Inventory the New Devices
• Locate and Inventory the New Racking
• Once all inventory is located and accounted for you will need to locate the old rack with all the old equipment still attached to the rack.
• Collect Existing Devices making sure to keep count of the phones and batteries. This will need to be documented at check out.
• Remove old equipment and relocate the old rack to the new location. This rack will be reused and placed beside the new rack that was shipped to the store.
• Now that you have all the equipment located, find the new location for the racks to be installed. This location should either be in the Training room or the Break room.
• Obtain a Net9 Power Strip from the racking equipment.
• Plug in 5 Charging Cradles
• Power on 20 First Phones, once the phones are powered on and placed into the charging Cradle the download will begin. (You should only build 20 at a time)
• While the phones are building you should start the installation of the racks.
• Once all phones have the new build, place each phone on the shelf in the charging cradle.
• Now that the racks are built and the phones are charging, you’ll need to remove the old RLS Radio Tray and the RLS Server.
• Both RLS devices must be removed as part of this project. If the RLS Server is virtual, only the Radio Tray will be removed.
• Clean and properly dispose of the pallets, boxes, and other debris. Prepare all extra equipment to be shipped to Global. Review the new rack setup with ASM.
• Pack up all old equipment, the RLS equipment needs to packed up in a separate box. Place the return shipping label on each box.
• Capture all photos needed and obtain sign off from the MOD. Call the help desk to check out.
• I will provide a more detailed Doc once the tech is assigned to the install.

• Screw Drivers both Phillips and flat
• Drill
• Safety Eyeglasses Gloves
