HEALTH UPDATE

After seeing my heart and lung doc this week this is what I was told. My 48 hour heart monitor showed Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), is defined as an abnormally fast heartbeat. Lung doc and tests showed - respiratory insufficiency at about 50%, normal is over 75%, found on the new breathing test.

Respiratory insufficiency: The condition in which the lung cannot take in sufficient oxygen or expell sufficient carbon dioxide to meet the needs of the cells of the body. Also called pulmonary insufficiency.

Could be caused by a blood clot or pulmonary hypertension.

Have to get another CT scan looking for blood clots.
