Running Meta Ads for your agency or your clients?
**Don’t just check if the ads are generating leads. Check what happens AFTER the lead comes in.**
This is where a lot of funnels quietly break.
You can have:
→ Great ads
→ A strong offer
→ A high-converting landing page
→ Cheap leads
…and still lose money because the backend is broken.
Here’s a simple test every agency should be doing:
**Submit your own lead form.**
Then follow the lead through the entire journey.
✅ Does it instantly enter the CRM?
✅ Is the lead source tracked correctly?
✅ Does it enter the correct pipeline/stage?
✅ Does the assigned sales rep get notified?
✅ Does the lead receive the right SMS/email response?
✅ Are follow-up automations triggered?
✅ Does the appointment booking process work?
✅ Does the sales team know exactly what to do next?
And most importantly:
**How long does it take from “lead submitted” → “lead contacted”?**
Because your client doesn't care that the Meta campaign says 500 leads were generated.
They care about what happened to those 500 leads.
A lead sitting in a CRM untouched for 30 minutes is not a marketing success.
A lead entering the wrong pipeline is not a marketing success.
A broken notification is not a marketing success.
**The real funnel isn't the ad.**
The real funnel is:
**Ad → Form → CRM → Pipeline → Notification → Follow-up → Appointment → Sale**
Every step matters.
This is why we recommend agencies run test leads regularly instead of assuming their automations are working.
**Don't assume. Test it.**
