I'll admit I boxed this project and haven't had time to touch it all summer. I've illustrated through page 18. I just need to sit my butt down and finish.... But that ADHD brain has so many projects I want to do and sometimes it feels like getting something done that can be finished quickly is nice. Also things with a deadline.
I need to figure out smaller chunks to bite off! Hopefully I get more pages done soon... But then school starts 🤦

It's been a decade since I've taught toddlers that we're not my own! I think I remembered how to adapt my projects for smaller fingers and attention spans. I had over 50 little 2-6yr olds that painted with me for summer fun. Obviously in smaller groups 🤣. Those 2yrs olds were super adorable, but I think the 3yr olds were my most enthusiastic group. The 4 and 5 yr old mostly knew about coloring in the lines, so they were serious.
I think they did so awesome! When they were done I outlined their giraffes and painted the eyes and mouth on.
