What if one sermon didn't produce one piece of content, but twenty?

Same message. Same pastor. Same preparation. Here's what that one Sunday message could actually become:

5 short videos. 3 teaching posts. 3 quotes. 2 emails. 2 discussion questions. A devotional. A YouTube short. A Reel. A TikTok. An invitation to watch the full sermon.

Same everything - completely different reach.

That's the shift we're encouraging churches to consider. Stop thinking "create more." Start thinking "how can we steward what we're already creating even more effectively?"

Multiplication doesn't always require more input. Sometimes it just requires better infrastructure.

Are you ready to have a conversation?

"Comment 'READY' if you'd like to talk through what this could look like for your church."

They're Not Searching for a Church. They're Searching for an Answer.

Someone in your community is searching right now.

Maybe not for a church. Maybe not even for God. Maybe for something like:

"How do I save my marriage?" "Why do I feel so alone?" "How do I forgive someone who hurt me so badly?" "How do I find purpose in this life?" "How do I deal with feelings of anxiousness?" "What happens when someone dies?"

And there's a good chance you've already preached the message that could help them.

That's what makes digital ministry so powerful. It's not about being online for the sake of being online - it's reach. It lets your message meet someone before they're ready to walk through the doors of a church.

A 30-second clip isn't a destination. It's a doorway.

So maybe the question isn't "should our church be on social media?" Maybe it's: if people in our community are searching for these answers, are we making it possible for them to find them?

What questions do you think people in your community are searching right now? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

3 signs your sermon content is "dying" after Sunday:

1. It only gets posted once - the day it happens.
2. Nobody outside your regular attendees ever sees it.
3. By Wednesday, it's already buried and forgotten.

If any of those sound familiar, you're not alone - most churches I talk to have a strong Sunday plan and then... nothing until next week.

Genuinely curious: what does your team currently do with the sermon once the service ends? Repost it as-is? Cut it into clips? Nothing yet?

Would love to hear how different churches are handling this.

Your sermon shouldn’t expire when Sunday ends.

Somewhere this week, someone may be wrestling with the exact thing you preached about on Sunday.

But what happens if they weren’t in the room - or they need to hear that message again when it becomes relevant to their life?

A sermon you already spent hours preparing can become so much more than a Sunday message.

It can become:
→ A 60-second encouragement
→ An answer to a common question
→ A testimony clip
→ A conversation starter
→ An invitation back to the full message

You don't necessarily need to create more content.

You may simply need to multiply what you're already creating.

That's the idea behind what we're building at Uplevel Strategies: helping your message travel further throughout the week.

Comment “MULTIPLY” and we'll show you what this could look like for your church.

Most churches aren't short on content. They're short on distribution.

Your pastor spends all week preparing for 30-40 minutes on Sunday.

By Tuesday, most of it is gone. Heard once, by the people who happened to be in the room that day.

We think about that a lot - not as marketers, but as two people who kept meeting pastors carrying something powerful and running out of week to share it anywhere but the pulpit.

We're Dena and Dana, the team behind Upleveled Strategies. Dena spent 23 years as a registered nurse before this. Dana's a licensed massage therapist who's built businesses with her husband. Neither of us planned to end up in church marketing. It found us, one overwhelmed church staff at a time.

Here's the shift we keep coming back to: your sermon shouldn't have to end when Sunday ends.

There's someone scrolling right now who's spiritually tired, spiritually curious, or just not ready to walk through your church doors yet. A short clip of your pastor's message might be the only "church" that reaches them this week.

So that's what we do. You send us the sermon. We find the two or three moments that matter most, turn them into short branded videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, write the captions, and send everything to you for approval before it ever goes live.

You preach. We handle the rest.

If your church's message has been stopping at the doors, we'd love for you to look around and see how the process works. Link in bio.

Here’s a fun question to actually sit with for a moment:

Where might someone encounter your church for the "very first time online?"

Maybe it’s:

● Instagram late at night, when everything else feels quiet.

● A Facebook group for people going through something specific and difficult.

● TikTok, where they weren’t even expecting to encounter something meaningful.

The platform might be different, but the opportunity is the same.

"There’s a good chance your last sermon already contains something someone genuinely needed to hear."

The question is:

"Will it ever find them?"

Because if that message isn’t showing up where people are already spending their time, they may never know it exists.

No judgment either way. We’re genuinely curious. 👇

The honest answer says a lot about a church’s actual capacity - and it looks different everywhere.

Some churches have a dedicated staff person managing social media.

Others rely on a volunteer who’s already juggling several other responsibilities.

And plenty of churches, if we’re being honest, are closer to:

“Nobody, really.”

That happens more often than people might guess from the outside.

So where does your church actually fall on that spectrum?

And more importantly:

Is it genuinely working for your team - or has it become one more thing that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list?

We’d love to hear what it actually looks like behind the scenes.

If this has happened at your church, we’d genuinely love to hear about it. 👇

It’s one of those moments that quietly confirms something many church teams hope is true - but don’t always get to witness firsthand.

And if it "hasn’t happened yet", that’s worth noting too. No judgment attached.

Either way, here’s a question we think every church team should sit with honestly:

Is your online presence actually functioning as a real front door for people right now - or is it mostly just an archive?

That distinction matters.
