A huge "THANK YOU" to all of you who have interacted with me on this page through the years! My little granddaughter is eight now (she still likes to play with my chickens) but she has grown a lot! I think we are pretty much at the end of the SM&E story. That old Gretsch and several other unique instruments will be going away sometime in the next few months. My good friend Sam Matisse invited myself and several other members of the cowboy poets of Idaho to participate in the Snake River Stampede July 18,19,20 (Thursday Friday Saturday) in Nampa, ID. There's gonna be lots of pickin' and singin' and ryming and recitin' and story-telling for sure!

I still really enjoy playing my guitar and backing people as they play and sing. Sometimes I like to sing a song or two myself. My hands won't do what they used to, but there was a time when I was pretty competent on six strings. I like to go to "jam sessions" or "song circles" or whatever name they go by nowadays...and just get together with others for whom music has become a life-long endeavor. This is just a note to tell you how much I have appreciated the opportunity to sit in with some of you friends through the years. Thank you.
