It's not always the size that counts.
What happens when you have a smaller room with 2 big and worn out speakers in the front that were installed (probably) sometime in the early 90s?
1. People can hit their head. (Seriously though haha)
2. It's too loud for the people up front and the people in the back can't hear!
Think about it, if someone is directly in front of you and trying to communicate to someone 25 feet behind you in the back row, he is yelling and you're wishing he would stop!
So how do we solve this problem of having speakers that just sound like someone is yelling at you?
Step 1. Call Foothills Audio Video
Step 2. Remove the old speakers
Step 3. Get MORE, SMALLER, speakers and place them properly in the room. To SPREAD OUT THE SOUND.
Step 4. Time align and EQ. (A dash of science)
Step 5. Enjoy better sound!
Believe it or not, replacing 2 larger speakers with 4 smaller ones made all the difference with clarity and coverage. The sound is full and crisp, just the way it should be.
DISCLAIMER: This is not a cut and paste solution for every room but for Head of Barren Missionary Baptist, it was perfect!
