New protocol release: UTCU4 in OBD
Flex version 7.53.0.0 is now available
The UTCU4 transmission control unit installed on Ford F-250 and F-350 vehicles equipped with 6.7L and 7.3L engines is now supported in OBD by Flex.
Programming is simple and safe: simply connect the red OBD cable supplied with your Flex kit to the vehicle’s diagnostic port for immediate access to map reading and writing operations.
The 7.53.0.0 update optimizes shift times, improving driving customization and helping reduce fuel consumption.
Note:
Currently supported version: UTCU400_FT3_200.

Flex version 7.52.0.0 is now available
With the release of version 7.52.0.0, Flex introduces Bench mode for Bosch DQ500 Gen2 TCUs, which are increasingly widespread on the latest generation and high-performance VAG vehicles.
This update also extends support to Bosch DQ38x (2022+) and ZF AL552 Gen2 (2022+) automatic transmissions, expanding coverage across the most recent platforms.
Bench mode ensures full control during read and write operations, ensuring high standards of precision and reliability.
In particular, support for DQ500 Gen2 represents a strategic evolution toward the most modern DSG transmissions, enabling new opportunities for tuning and advanced diagnostics.
With this release, Flex confirms itself as a benchmark solution for the professional management of next-generation TCUs in Bench mode.
Moreover, the protocol allows transmission control unit cloning, provided that the Bosch Part Number detected during identification is identical on both TCUs.

OBD, OBD on Bench, and Boot

Version 7.42.0.0 of Flex out now introducing full support to Magneti Marelli 8GMC control units installed on American market Fiat 500 cars.



Program via the diagnostic port: read, make your modifications (like power increase) and write your file directly on the control unit.



If the vehicle is not available, you can work in OBD on Bench and program the ECU via connector.



In order to clone or recover the unit, you can operate in Bootloader, too, by opening the unit and connecting to the PCB.

New Flex Update Out Now with the Second Batch of Flex Heavy-Duty Protocols
Second batch of protocols for heavy-duty vehicles released on Flex.

This new version of Flex (7.21.0.0) expands support to control units installed on industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and trucks, introducing new solutions in Bench and enriching compatibility in Boot for many ECUs that could once be programmed only via OBD or Bench.

This new release, dedicated to the second batch of protocols for heavy-duties, enables read and write operations, as well as full cloning – when available – of all memories inside control units, thanks to Bench and Boot modes.

Version 7.17.0.0 of Flex Out Now with a Flex OBD Solution for Continental GPECx
New release on Flex dedicated to OBD programming: a Flex OBD solution for Continental GPECx, specifically GPEC2, GPEC2A, GPEC3, GPEC4, GPEC4LM engine units.

Just unlock the unit in Boot mode and then proceed with reading and writing the map area directly via the diagnostic port of the vehicle.

Thanks to the newest update of Flex, removing the ECU every time to modify engine parameters is no longer necessary: unlock your control unit in Boot mode and then go for OBD any other time.

Les sorties dédiées aux unités de contrôle VAG MDG1 protégées par les derniers systèmes anti tuning ne sont pas finies. À partir d’aujourd’hui, Flex introduit un protocole exclusif pour le déverrouillage et la programmation en OBD des calculateurs Bosch MG1CS031 installés sur les véhicules VAG équipés d’un moteur à essence 2.0L TFSI, produits à partir de juillet 2020.

Comme pour les sorties précédentes pour les unités MDG1, cette nouvelle solution permet et l’écriture de la zone des cartes (Maps) et de l’application software (Maps & Code).

Version 7.12.0.0 of Flex Out Now With an Exclusive for VAG 3.0L TDI
New exclusive for VAG 3.0L TDI out now on Flex to unlock and program in OBD mode Bosch MD1CS014 engine units with the latest anti tuning protections.

Thanks to this new Flex solution, you no longer need to remove the ECU from VAG vehicles with 3.0L TDI engines, produced from July 2020 on: just download the virtual read from our database and unlock the control unit.

This protocol allows you to choose whether to only write maps (Maps) or use the Write Maps and Code function for ASW + Maps full programming.

This software update paves the way to a release series dedicated to (Locked) VAG MDG1 control units.

Moreover, after downloading the Virtual Read from the Flex software, you can now upload it directly on StageX and use DTC Removal algorithms, Mappacks, as well as new AI solutions:
