Why I built Budget Blueprint 👇
For years, I wasted money on budgeting apps that never quite fit what I needed.
So I gave up on them and built my own — a simple Excel file with linked pages to track spending, bills, and budgets. I've been using it for over 8 years. Not because it was fancy. Because it actually worked for me.
Over time, friends, family, and coworkers kept asking if I could make one for them.
Then, earlier this year, I was let go from my job. And I thought... why not? Let me see what I can build for everyone.
I wanted it to feel personal — not corporate. Made by someone who actually uses it, for people who just want to take control of their money without handing over their bank login or paying another subscription.
