We are looking for a competent Service desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer inbound calls on basic technical issues and work to resolve them.

An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers and situations.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

- Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnosing complex issues

- Escalate to next tier tech when necessary

- Document events, problems and their resolution in ticket management system.

- Follow-up and update customer on regular basis, communicate with internal resources as required.

- Document Processes & Procedures for new products, installations & deployments.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role

- Tech oriented mindset with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control

- Good understanding of computer systems, networking, mobile devices and other tech products

-Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

-Proficiency in English

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

- Dental IT experience preferred, not required (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Dexis etc.)

- Experience with PSA and RMM Tools a Plus.
