Show Me Champions, a 1400 sq foot mural by Artist Phil "S**e Style" Shafer, adorns the south facade of the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy in the heart of the historic 18th and Vine District. The hand-painted design pays tribute to Kansas City baseball's past, present, and future and stood proud since being commissioned by the City's One Percent for Art program in 2017.
In July 2025, the mural was damaged by an accidental fire during Independence Day festivities. The building skirted damage, but the mural panels were unfortunately charred beyond repair and deformed by the blaze.
WIth quick action by the Artist, KCUYA, the Kansas City Public Art Administrator, and the team at Midtown Signs, an updated digital version of the design was printed and installed. The upgraded printed mural now fully replaces the old damaged panels with a new life.
The vibrant updated mural will continue to serve as a photo op and story telling moment for years to come.

The Samuel U Rodgers Health Center has expanded their care services with a new pediatric wing. Our team was commissioned to create custom artwork within the new public spaces.

We designed and painted two stairwell murals, with the lower design depicting care workers with kids and the upper level focusing on families.

In the bridge area connecting the old building to the new wing are three custom designed and installed murals. A donor wall with custom acrylic pelicans, the main bridge mural features an abstract greenscape with kids and grandparents, and the window artwork is a vinyl on glass design that casts a detailed shadow that moves with the sun throughout the day.

We're S**e'd to see a full house at the K for game 4 tonight!

We're proud to support our hometown team with custom art over the years! From our Champions tunnel mural back in 2015, to our recently designed and installed pillar graphics. Congrats to the 2024 class of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) graduates!

Here's a look at detailed shots of the six custom mixed media artworks commissioned gifts for each graduate. Each painting is 30x40 inches on wooden panel board and is a blend of digital design and printing with spray painted accents.

Each painting has a KC area theme with attention given to each company's brand colors, logo and business sector.

Incorporating these elements creates a unique painting for the graduates' collection.

Here's a behind the scenes look of our most recent commissioned football helmets to celebrate the historic 04/13/24 match at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

These custom painted helmets and boxes commemorate the Sporting KC vs Inter Miami match with 70k+ fans showing up to represent KC as the Soccer Capital of America!

We're excited for another round of great events in 2024 working with the Arrowhead Events team.

The new Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) office building, designed inside and out by Kansas City-based architecture and interior design firm Generator Studio, is now adorned with a larger-than-life outdoor mural designed and painted by local design company S**e Style Industries.

The mural, located at 2940 Main St., depicts a modern cityscape inspired by the CPC’s new brand color palette and other features from the interior design created by Generator Studio.

2024 is in full swing and it's time again for our annual MLK Day of service. In honor of Dr. King's legacy, City Year KC has partnered with S**e Style to paint a mural and create a custom display case installation at Pitcher Elementary. The mural theme this year is "Creative City". The mural features familiar elements like crayons, rockets, a microscope, eagle, and buildings in the cityscape. A dinosaur in a lake and a peeking cat add a bit of imagination. Can you find the chess pieces and pizza slice? The custom display case installation theme is "Soaring to Success". Channeling the school's eagle mascot, community and kids, the display is adorned with flying objects, vehicles, and birds of every shape, reminding the students to aim high and take flight.

We're excited for the opportunity to lend our time and talents to a great cause and bring new color and energy to the staff and students at Pitcher elementary.
