Warning: A small novel and big news ahead…
After nearly 13 wonderful years, the time has come to take a step back from custom wedding stationery.
Life is so wild. Had you told me at the beginning of this year that the 2nd half would bring such transition, I wouldn’t have believed you. At the same time, things have a wonderfully weird way of happening just as they are suppose to.
While there’s a 1001 things that played into this decision, at the core was a balance for my family. Business ownership was never on my radar, and when I decided way back when to give this a go, a big part of it was to also offer the option of flexibility to be for our young, growing family. And while it did, I’ll be fully transparent and say it also felt hard and something I really struggled to find..especially the last few years. After a tough spring/early summer, the stars aligned and an opportunity came about that I knew was meant to be my next chapter.
I am very, very thankful for this journey, proud of what I grew (to that clueless twenty-something making fake suites to show potential clients — ya did alright, kid) and all that has come with it…all the highs and even all the lows. All it has taught me..and all the people. That last one being the biggest. To have worked with so many couples and their families will forever be an honor. To have some of my dearest friendships be with fellow vendors will forever have a special place.
I will also forever be proud to have been a part of THIS wedding industry…right here in KC. It is truly magic and full of some the most hard working, creative and dedicated people you’ll ever meet.
I’m looking forward to seeing my last clients special days come to life through the fall and may share some peeks into those details, but have stopped taking on any new clients and would be more than happy to refer you to my other amazing stationer gals.
To all that have been a part of this wild ride…thank you. I 100% would have never made it here without SO many of you…my family, friends, clients, planners, fellow vendors. So 🥂 to you and thank you for being a part of this chapter with me! 💛💛💛
