>Win Prospects that weren’t looking for new IT. Offered to just “test them” to see how well they’re doing. - it’s free, what do you have to lose?
>Discovery to quote a right sized MSA and onboarding fee.
>Convert Breakfix clients to MS Clients or generate billable projects. Offer the assessment and Griggs level presentations. Couple of different ways to offer it.
>>1. Charge for assessment upfront(price = one month of MS or Onboarding fee), review at a high level then if they signed up they’d get their own boarding free.
>>2. Free assessment and high level review. Pay full priced for the detailed results then offer a multi-year msa contract and remediation project covered (only work if the sign a milti-year. We did 3 years) or give them a discounted hourly rate to did the remediation projects without a contract. Or charge them for the details only and and they can help make the fixed themselves or internal note. (Price is high i you’re trying to now make some money from your free assessment to show (1.5 or 2 times a monthly agreement would be. (Charged 12k-15k before. Don’t be scared to price it higher with confidence. Just make sure the cost they are looking to have if they do not fix the issues.

Learning time: when you first get it plan for your tech to spend about 12-15 hours getting it all configured and do a test run, figure out what the results mean, what to do to get it to catch machines it missed during the scan, fine tone it, re-run the scan. Then, process the data brand and modify templates (that are included) with the results. Lastly, present finding internally and with the client. Get this part done and out of the way. Give them time to be focus and work with their support to get it right. It’ll take about 2 weeks-3weeks (minimum a week because of the two scans). This is how you make big, huge, margins...once you do that, it should take roughly 4 hours (1 hour prep and deploy, 1 hour audit data and rerun if needed, 1 hour to prepare results and documents, 1 hour to present to clients) 4 hours for $2,799-$15k...yeah, I’ll take those margins anyway if the week. And that’s JUST the assessment and high level power point the client got.

We would offer it for $489 for smaller clients less than 5 machines and $789 for 5-10 machines. ( weird number helped)

With little growth on the IT spending horizon, speed is the name of the game when it comes to winning new managed services clients. Many MSPs have already refined their sales strategies to stay competitive in this challenging environment, and now it's your turn.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I just wanted to take a moment to check in with everyone to see if there is anything I can help with...Any questions regarding the ConnectWise Suite, any of the Integrating tools, or anything related to the Business/Operations side of the house that doesn't have to have anything to do with ConnectWise at all. I spent 12 years of my career in MSP Operations so I can help with a lot there as well. Just let me know...I am here to help, as well as the rest of the group. So, post it or message me and we'll get you taken care of.

On a side note: I am always vetting out tools and solutions for us and recently I have been keeping an eye on CW Dash - THE Simple and Light Dashboard for ConnectWise. So far, I like what I see. It's a FREE (yes, not even kidding, it's free) reporting and dashboarding tool. I will note though, if you are using ConnectWise Hosted you will have to get the connector, which is less than $50 a month, but there is no charge for CWDASH.

The installation process is super simple, you answer a few questions on a survey and then you're up and running.

Anyways, I felt it was worth sharing with you guys. If you'd like to check them out for yourself, they are putting on a free webinar next Tuesday the 2nd. If you decide to check them out, get back with me and let me know what you think. I am interested in getting others to take on them.

Tips & Tricks - Tuesday!!

Good Morning!

Did you know, that in ConnectWise MANAGE you could enable features like Email Auditing (rolling 90 days), Current Week Time Sheet quick link, and Ticket Time Stop Watch by going to

Systems>Setup Tables> "Manage Labs" table>Check the features you'd like to activate>click "Actions">"Mark Actie"

My Favorite is definitely the Current Time Sheet quick link. I find that I enter more time, on time...actually as I go, having the link right there at the top of every screen. (see 2nd screenshot)

However, the email audit has saved me a ton of time troubleshooting workflow rules to determine if emails are going out when triggered by a workflow rule, so it's proven to be pretty handy as well.
