The SPLM party Secretary General Akol Paul Kordit initiated the removal of former Speaker Rt. Hon. Jemma Nunu Kumba, and installed his puppet Rt. Hon. Joseph Ngere Paciko to dismantle the party political fulcrum for his interest.

This egregious political scheme has been manifested in the recent financial assistance to the legislative branch of the government by President Salva Kiir, in which 5 million USD was allocated to the legislators to cover their needs.

It's worth mentioning that the speaker colluded with Akol Paul Kordit and denied the opposition ally MPs, especially those supporting Dr. Riek Machar not to receive their share. The two took a lumpsum of money in the following ratio:

1. Akol Paul Kordit [ 700,000 USD ]
2. Hon. Joseph Ngere [ 500,000 ]
