šŸ€ The Power of Color in Branding šŸ€

Ever seen something so bold you didn’t even have to read the label?

Take Vault City Brewing’s ā€œApple Soorā€
That bright green isn’t random, it was created for St. Patrick’s Day and instantly connects you to:
šŸ apple flavor
šŸ€ the holiday
✨ a fun, bold experience

That’s what great branding does.
Color isn’t just aesthetic. It tells your audience what to expect, creates emotion, and makes you instantly recognizable.

If your brand doesn’t stand out in a scroll, on a shelf, or in someone’s mind… it’s not working as hard as it could. This St. Patrick’s Day, don’t rely on luck, message us! šŸ€

Here’s something I always think about when businesses post photos of their work online…

People can stare at a photo forever. šŸ”

Once something is posted, someone will zoom in, look around, and notice every little detail.

Maybe there’s a wrapper on the ground.
A tool sitting in the corner.
Something small that didn’t get picked up.

In real life it probably didn’t seem like a big deal… but in a photo people can sit there and analyze it all day.

Taking an extra 5–10 minutes to clean up before snapping a picture can make a big difference in how professional your work looks online.

Because whether we realize it or not, those photos become our portfolio now. People look at them when deciding who they want to hire.

And when your work already looks great, it’s worth taking the extra minute to make sure the photo shows that too. šŸ‘

One thing I didn’t fully realize until starting my own business is how many different jobs small business owners end up doing.

Some days you’re the owner.
Some days you’re customer service.
Some days you’re the marketer, the scheduler, the accountant… and occasionally the problem solver for things you never expected. šŸ˜…

It’s rewarding, but it can also get overwhelming when everything stacks up.

That’s honestly part of the reason I started 740 Advertising.
A lot of businesses don’t need a big marketing agency or some complicated strategy. Sometimes they just need someone they can call and say: ā€œHey… can you help me figure this out?ā€

Maybe it’s designing a flyer.
Posting something online.
Organizing paperwork.
Finding a contact.
Promoting an event.
Updating a website.
Or solving some random problem that popped up during the week.

So if you ever run into something and think
ā€œI wish someone could just handle thisā€¦ā€

Send me a message. If I can help, I will. And if I can’t, I’ll probably know someone who can. šŸ¤

Even with February being a shorter 4-week month, we still saw strong engagement and visibility across our client’s social platforms. Consistency matters, and the numbers continue to prove it.

Last month brought:
✨ Thousands of views across posts and reels
✨ Strong audience reach and profile visits
✨ Increased visibility within their local market

Social media isn’t just about posting — it’s about strategy, consistency, and understanding the analytics behind what works. Every month we review insights like these to adjust content, improve reach, and continue building momentum.

This is exactly why businesses that stay consistent on social media see long-term results.
Looking forward to seeing what March brings!

One thing I’ve learned pretty quickly since becoming a business owner myself is that there are a lot of little things you’re responsible for that nobody really warns you about.

Insurance is a big one.

Not just making sure your own business is covered, but also making sure the people you hire or bring onto a job are protected too. If you’re working with subcontractors, vendors, or outside help, it’s always worth asking if they’re insured and qualified.

It might feel a little awkward to ask sometimes, but any legitimate business understands why it matters. At the end of the day it protects everyone involved — you, your client, and the people doing the work.

Running a small business already comes with enough moving parts, so having those things squared away ahead of time just makes life easier.

And honestly, sometimes the hardest part of a project isn’t the work itself… it’s just figuring out who the right person to call is.

That’s something I actually enjoy helping people with too — connecting good businesses with good people. šŸ¤

🚨 Pricing for 740 Advertising! 🚨

Not every business needs a full-time marketing person… but a lot of businesses still need a little help here and there. I put together a new pricing structure that allows me to dedicate time to businesses that need temporary help, occasional projects, or a few hours of support each month. Please keep in mind these are starting prices to give you an idea of what it might cost. Price will be adjusted based on scope, timeline, and business needs. Needs of business will be accessed and adjusted pricing will be provided if needed.

This can look a lot different depending on your industry šŸ‘‡

šŸ”Ø Contractors & trades — creating estimates & invoices, taking project photos, before/after posts, marketing materials, bid assistance, social media set up & management
šŸ› Retail shops, boutiques, salons — social media support, promotional graphics, product content, seasonal marketing, event planning, content photography
šŸŽ‰ Events & community promotions — flyers, promotional posts, content, social presence, and marketing support, Facebook event set up

My goal is simple: give businesses access to custom creative help without needing a full-time employee.
If you’ve been needing help with graphics, social media, marketing materials, content photos, or business documents, this might be a great fit.

Message me anytime if you want to chat about what your business might need!

If you’re in landscaping, excavation, construction, cleaning, detailing… basically any business where you transform something…

šŸ“ø take before and after photos.
Seriously.

It’s one of the easiest marketing tools you have and it costs exactly $0.

People LOVE seeing a good transformation.
A yard that was overgrown suddenly cleaned up.
A rough lot turned into something usable.
A space that looks completely different when the job is done.

You’re already doing the hard part — the work itself. The photos just help people see the value in what you did.

It takes maybe 20 seconds to snap a quick picture before starting and another when you're finished. Those photos can be used for social media, your website, showing potential customers, or even just building a portfolio over time.

Sometimes marketing isn’t about fancy ads or big strategies.
Sometimes it’s just showing the work you're proud of.
