✨ 2025: A Year in Review ✨

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who supported our business throughout 2025.

One of our biggest milestones this past year was launching a brand-new website and rolling out a new phone system—both major upgrades designed to make it easier for customers to reach us, get information, and receive support more efficiently.

📞 New Phone System
The new system gives us improved call handling, voicemail, and room to grow. That said, we’re still working out a few bugs as everything gets fully dialed in. If you’ve experienced any hiccups, we truly appreciate your patience while we fine-tune things behind the scenes.

🌐 New Website
Our new website is a big step forward and will continue to evolve with additional content, services, and resources as we move through 2026.

Beyond the upgrades, 2025 was about what matters most:
💻 Solving real technology problems
🛡️ Improving security and reliability
🤝 Building trust within our local community

Whether you reached out for a quick fix or relied on us for ongoing support, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help. Small businesses grow because of trust, referrals, and loyal customers—and we don’t take that lightly.

As we begin 2026, we’re excited, motivated, and focused on continuing to provide honest, dependable, no-nonsense tech solutions.

Thank you for being part of the journey—here’s to an even better 2026! 🥂

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up — our main phone number will be temporarily out of service as we transition to a new phone provider.

This upgrade is part of our effort to resolve the consistent issues we’ve experienced with our previous provider and improve the reliability of our phone service moving forward. 📡

We expect everything to be back up and running within a few days, and we really appreciate your patience during this short downtime.

Backup your data! Drive failures can happen at any time and to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you only have a couple recipes and last year’s vehicle registration or if you have every company file for the last 20 years. Anything that’s worth saving is worth backing up.
We can attempt to recover data but sometimes there’s things we just can’t get back.
A thorough backup plan includes a local backup that you can get to easily as well as an off-site backup.
iCloud, OneDrive, Google Drive and Carbonite are great cloud solutions. Flash drives and external hard drives are great for local backups. Just remember, two is one and one is none.

How’s the resolution to be more secure online in 2023 coming?
If you didn’t see my last post, check out our page and read it.
Today we’re talking about a measure to help secure your computer.

Most people use their computer as Administrators. This is BAD. An administrator on a computer has full access to the computer. An admin can install/uninstall software and make system changes. What most people don’t think about though is that ANYONE remotely accessing the computer while the admin is logged in can do the same things. User Access Control is vital to securely using computers. A very simple thing to do is to go into settings, create a new account, name it whatever you want and set it as an Administrator. Then, set your user account as Standard User. This will instantly make your computer more secure as you will have to elevate privileges to perform system level tasks. Make sure you use a secure password that is different than your standard user account too!
Naturally this is not an end all be all solution. There is no such thing as 100% secure. This is simply a layer of security that needs to be done on all computers.

Happy New Year! If you are still in need of a resolution, how about doing a security audit of your online accounts? Start with checking haveibeenpwned.com. Type in your email address and it will tell you if that email address shows up in a data breach. If so, make sure you change the password!

Passwords should be changed regularly and never use a password for more than one account.

A strong password is one that cannot be easily guessed, more than 14 characters long and consists of uppercase (capital) letters, lowercase (small) letters, numbers and symbols.

In addition, you should set up 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) or MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) on all accounts that support it. Google, Microsoft and Apple have the ability to do this.

Another fairly new layer of security is a private email address that forwards to your main email. This is an awesome feature the Apple rolled out a short while ago. I will go into more detail on this in a future post, keep an eye out for that.

Remember, it is OK to write your personal (never work related) passwords on PAPER. Just make sure to keep them in a safe place. A file on your computer is NOT a safe place.

If this seems like a lot, we are here to help! We offer security consultations and audits in addition to our PC Repairs. Make 2023 the year you become secure online!

Just wanted to update everyone. We have become much busier than we have been in the past but we are still here. We have noticed a high number of missed calls with no voicemail messages and believe we have determined the problem. Our phone provider defaulted our voicemail greeting to a generic one. This has been fixed. There were also times that instead of the generic voicemail greeting, callers were greeted with a busy tone. This has also been corrected.
With that said, our voicemail system is back to operational with a new greeting. If we do not answer when you call, leave a message and we will call back as soon as possible.
