A woman told me using AI makes me part of “hustle culture.” 🙄 Mmmmmkay, if this is hustle culture, sign me up.

My newsletter used to take me an hour and a half to write.

Now it takes 30-40 minutes. That’s roughly a full work week back every year, and I’m spending it here, not hustling, TYVM.

And nope, it doesn’t sound like a robot wrote it!!

I give Claude 3️⃣ things to work with: whole newsletters I wrote before AI existed, my real stories, and a list of words I’d never say.

Then I read every draft out loud and edit until it’s MINE.

A stranger told me using AI makes me part of hustle culture.

Me!!! The woman who essentially takes her summers off and only works while her kids are in school.

So I’ll say it plainly 👉🏼 I use AI to create a lot less work for myself, and to lighten the places in my business where words come slowly for me.

Instead, I’d look at every place you already show up and ask if it’s sending anyone to your list.⁠

A platform you don’t show up for consistently won’t grow your list.⁠

It just becomes one more Post-it on your desk that makes you feel guilty. Been there, done that.⁠
