Meet Tallulah. 🥂
She’s currently holding court front and center at HomegrownHsv downtown, sipping ch*****ne from her sky-high heel.
Painted from an iconic photograph of a very real Tallulah moment in 1951, she’s also the first of something new I’m thrilled to share.
It’s been a while since a place sparked my imagination as quickly as HOST did. The newly renovated space is truly the best of the city: historic Huntsville meets Architectural Digest glamour. Chandeliers, crystal and brass, cocktail hour, and just the right amount of Jazz Age decadence.
Lucky for me, there were some freshly painted walls that needed paintings. And even better, Ashley and Katiya are those rare people who trust the creative process enough to give an artist room to run with an idea.
And run I did. 😉✨
What started with one painting quickly became something more. I started digging into the life of Huntsville’s hometown girl and found far too much inspo for a single canvas: the wit, the scandal, the parties, the glamour, and most of all, the woman herself.
