Statement from Steve Cornelius, President of Promacs IT Services
In response to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19, I would like to provide an update to our customers about the steps we have taken to ensure a safe and responsible continuance of business.
The state of California has enacted a ‘stay at home’ order effective as of Friday, March 20, at 12 a.m. to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This means all residents are mandated to ‘remain at home’ and only essential businesses may remain open to provide critical services. Under the order, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has mandated that all Californians stay in their homes except as needed to maintain continuity of operations in 16 specific critical infrastructure sectors. One of those critical infrastructure sectors, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security and the state of California, is the information technology sector.
Promacs will continue to provide our excellent computer support remotely and only travel to client sites for emergency situations that require onsite support. Promacs is already set up to provide remote support from most of our clients and can add you or your business if you are not already set up for remote support.
Promacs has been working hard to provide clients with continuance of business. We have been configuring computers, servers and other resources to be accessed remotely so employees are able to work from home. Contact us if you would like us to provide a remote working solution for your business.
Promacs has put measures into place to ensure our employees are following guidelines from both the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help mitigate the impact of the Coronavirus.
As this is a fluid situation, we will keep you informed of any changes to the above, and as always, feel free to reach out to us with your questions or concerns via email at [email protected] or by calling us at 714-805-8725.
We value your business and will continue to do everything we can to provide the best possible service to all our customers during these exceptionally challenging times.
Thank you,
Steve Cornelius, President
